WHAT IS 99 ?
PageFree's authors enjoy an industry-leading 75% of net in royalties. The remaining 25% we retain is used to offset the high cost of professional design for our books.
In some cases, however, the author would rather earn a higher royalty percentage so as to keep the price of their book at its absolute minimum... or perhaps because their book is part of a seminar, for example, and the cost of attendance is built into the book.

| Thus, PageFree has developed a number of publishing packages which now offer a full 99% of net profit as royalty! (With the remaining 1% going to the postman.)
HOW DOES THIS WORK?
It's quite simple. We've structured four of our most popular packages to allow 99% royalties. These packages are priced modestly higher than their Basic counterparts (which already feature a 75% royalty.) The author simply needs to choose one of the 99 programs.
| As example, if a book has 160 pages and you have priced it at $16.95 with a 40% discount, under the Basic Packages, your royalty would be $4.57 per book sold. If you opted for the equivalent 99 Package, your royalty would be $6.03. |

PODCASTS HAVE COME TO PAGEFREE!
If you have watched television in the past year, you won't have missed the newest trend in audio gadgetry, the Apple iPodTM, and its impact on the Internet, namely Podcasts. Named for the combination of iPodTM and broadcasting, Podcasts are delivered through such popular interfaces as iTunesTM. Listeners may subscribe to a series and will be automatically notified as each new episode becomes available. They then have the option of downloading the episode onto their desktop computer or their personal iPodTM.
PageFree is initiating the first POD Podcast (print on demand iPod newscast) and will cover topics of interest to those in the publishing industry. Designed as primarily informational, authors may avail themselves of advertising time to be included in each broadcast.
The POD Podcast is distributed free of charge and the audience is unlimited. The first episode, "Traditional or Self-Publishing, Which is for Me?" is available at the link below. This is streaming media in an mp3 format and even dial-up connections will be able to listen. Most systems with Windows already are loaded with a built-in mp3 player, the Windows Media Player so simply clicking on the link should begin the 21-minute broadcast.
